Are these moving sculptures or DIY kits?

Our kinetic pieces use mechanical movement to animate wooden creatures. They are decorative sculptures; see each product page and included instructions for setup. The two wave-art designs are static carved art.

How are they powered?

Most moving pieces use USB-C power or rechargeable batteries. The swan uses one AAA battery, which is not included. Music is available only on the specified whale and swan variants. Check the product details before ordering.

Will the wood look exactly like the photos?

Natural wood varies in grain and color. Product photographs show the design; your piece will have its own natural character.

Where should I display a moving piece?

Choose a level indoor surface with clearance for every moving part. Keep away from water, direct heat, and strong prolonged sunlight. These decorative pieces have delicate mechanisms and are not intended for rough play.

How should I clean it?

Switch the piece off before handling. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Do not soak it, force the joints, or use harsh cleaners.

Is the mechanism silent?

Moving gears and motors can make some sound. A version “without music” does not mean a completely silent mechanism.

Can I send it as a gift?

You can use the recipient’s address at checkout. Check the product’s delivery estimate before ordering for a particular date. Gift wrap and custom messages are not currently offered as checkout services.
